Abstract

This study investigates the state of liver function in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) characterized by preserved left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). Chronic heart failure with preserved LVEF presents a distinct clinical phenotype associated with substantial morbidity and mortality. However, the impact of this condition on liver function remains poorly understood. In this research, liver function tests, including serum biomarkers and imaging studies, were utilized to assess hepatic health in patients with CHF and preserved LVEF. The findings shed light on the prevalence and severity of liver dysfunction in this patient population, highlighting the importance of comprehensive cardiac and hepatic evaluation in managing CHF. Understanding the relationship between cardiac function and liver health is critical for optimizing therapeutic strategies and improving outcomes in patients with CHF and preserved LVEF.
