The article considers the application of modern information technologies and rational methods and techniques in the study of the biography of a Russian writer (poet). This helps students to understand the works more easily, but most importantly, it makes the lessons of the study of Russian literature lively, interesting, activates their independent work both in the classroom and outside the classroom in a non-linguistic environment.
